The Oak Room Calamigos Ranch | Gina + Jason

Sometimes you just have to be in the right place, at the right time.  Sometimes two Southern California natives meet and start dating in Arizona even though they grew up only 40 miles from each other.  Sometimes a wedding truly can be the perfect representation of two people.

Fall has officially come to Southern California.  Okay, maybe it has just come to this Oaks Room Calamigos Ranch wedding.  Those who know SoCal know that you can’t really tell when fall shows up except for the slight break in the heat.  So Gina and Jason’s big day is probably the closest we are going to get.  Just take a look at the amazing orange and red fall colors in all the florals.

We love the Oaks Room at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu because it just gives that outdoorsy feel to the wedding day, without actually roughing it.  The perfect blend for a couple like Gina and Jason that love to hike and enjoy the outdoors.

After the romantic ceremony in front of the epic waterfall arbor, everyone headed inside for a maximum fun reception.  With loads of dancing and a “Shot-stick” (a combination of hockey stick and shot-ski), the party was on!

We are big fans of the dessert portion of the wedding day and this Calamigos Ranch wedding just reaffirmed that.  Gina and Jason chose one of our favorite bakeries, Skiff’s Cakes, to supply the wedding cake.  Gorgeous and tasty, really an awesome combination.  But not nearly as awesome as Gina and Jason and the fun, romantic wedding day they put together.  Enjoy The Oak Room Calamigos Ranch Wedding Photos
