Ventura Beach Wedding | Stephanie + Danny

Many couples dream of getting married on the beach.  Stephanie and Danny realized that dream with their Ventura Beach wedding.  It was fun seeing all the photos from their entire relationship since they started dating in High School, and even went to prom together.  Now living in Michigan, they decided to return to Southern California to tie the knot on the beach in Ventura.

After a first look in the sand, everyone gathered at Surfer’s Knoll near the Ventura Harbor for the ceremony.  Beach weddings can have their challenges, think sand, wind, and weather.  But, with a little planning and some flexibility, they can be quite romantic and visually stunning.  

After saying “I do” and taking some beachfront romantic photos, the whole bridal party gathered for some fun group photos.  Then we all headed inland a bit to the Wedgewood Wedding & Banquet Center for the reception.  Overlooking the golf course, yet still wrapped in the ocean air, it is a beautiful location.

One special moment during the reception was courtesy of Stephanie’s Hula Teacher.  Her teacher along with some fellow students and now friends of Stephanie, performed a symbolic Hula dance for the newly married Stephanie and Danny.
