Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach – Katrina + Jai

During a parasailing adventure In Oahu, Jai proclaimed his love for Katrina and then went a step further and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes, but thankfully he waited until they were back on the ground to actually give her the engagement ring. Now, we are all gathered at the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach for their wedding day.

These two first met at a Filipino grocery store and merely exchanged glances and went on about their separate ways. Then, a couple years later, their paths crossed again and they began dating. But, Jai remembered every detail from that first brief encounter all the way down to which checkout lane Katrina was in and what she was purchasing.

After their high flying proposal, Katrina and Jai came back to earth, sort of, with a tropical themed wedding. The ceremony on the pool deck of the Crowne Plaza Redondo Beach, overlooking the beach, seemed reminiscent of their proposal.

After the “I do’s” were exchanged and everything was sealed with a kiss, everyone headed inside the beautifully decorated Seascape Ballroom for dinner, dancing, and all the reception festivities. As everyone settled inside for the evening, Katrina surprised Jai with a second bridal gown for the reception and dancing.

It was so special watching these two make each other laugh and smile all night long. Whether it was on the dance floor or while visiting with friends and family, their love for each other was simply obvious. As the night continued on, Katrina and Jai celebrated their new life as husband and wife.
