We met up with Jenny and Joel for their Los Angeles engagement session at her Uncle’s property in Topanga Canyon. These two go hiking quite often and wanted to capture that style without the hot and sweaty look associated with actual hiking. So this property was perfect, convenient but still outdoorsy.

After spending some time capturing all the property had to offer we still had some time left before sunset. So, we talked about going somewhere for some epic sunset photos. Jenny and Joel brought up a location that sounded great and was somewhere they had been to often when they just wanted to get away. So we all headed out and this place did not disappoint. Epic sunset photos was exactly what this spot had ready for us.

Beyond that, the views of the entire Los Angeles area were stunning. We could see Downtown Los Angeles, LAX, Santa Monica, the ocean, a great angle of Burbank Airport, and almost all of the San Fernando Valley. We love silhouettes and knew this would be a breathtaking silhouette photo location.

Jenny and Joel were so much fun to hang out with and so easy to take photos of. Their love for each other is truly genuine.  We absolutely cannot wait for their Knollwood Country Club wedding.
