Alyssa and Steve’s wedding day at Middle Ranch in Lake View Terrace was so perfect for these two.  It is always amazing to see how couples make their day unique.  For these two, they went for an “Up” theme.  There were little touches throughout that gave reminders to this theme.  Beginning with the flower girl dressed as a Wilderness Explorer to all the groomsmen wearing a Grape Soda Bottlecap pin in lieu of a boutonniere.  It really set the mood for and adventurous and fun, yet still romantic.  This mood is perfect for Alyssa and Steve as you might remember from their Conejo Creek engagement session.

Back at Middle Ranch we met up with Alyssa first as she was finishing up hair and makeup.  After some photos of the bridal gown, we got some fun shots of everyone getting ready.  Then, it was time for Alyssa and Steve’s first look.  Middle Ranch had so many special spots for a First Look.  We love to take advantage of the gorgeous outdoor spaces whenever we can for a first look.

After the first look, we had a chance to take an adventure around the property with this fun couple for their romantics.  With majestic old trees and rolling foothills, there are so many great spots.  Just before the ceremony, we had the entire bridal party join us and then it was time for the festivities to begin.

One highlight of many from the ceremony was a laughter inducing round of “Happy Birthday” initiated by that adorable flower girl when she ran out of flowers heading down the aisle.  Everything about this day was just FUN!

Keeping with that theme, the reception featured a photo booth and dinner family style along with the usual dancing and special moments mixed in.
