Tiffany and Andrew met and live in Chicago, but with Tiffany’s family here in the Los Angeles area, we were excited to hear they were getting married locally. Of course, we would’ve LOVED to travel to Chicago for these two, but they chose the beauty and history of the Queen Mary.
When Andrew asked her to marry him, we really hoped we would get to shoot their wedding. Fast-forward to last weekend and it was all becoming a reality. We met Tiffany at a our friend Tiffany’s wedding. Emma and Tiffany were actually bridesmaids together in Tiffany’s wedding! (yes it can get confusing, there were actually 3 Tiffany’s, ok 2 Tiffany and 1 Tiffani, in the wedding) We have known our long time friend Tiffany since we all worked together at Universal Studios a long time ago, so Emma had to take a moment and spend time with Tiffany’s new daughter during the cocktail hour.
It was fun hearing all the Chicago accents aboard the ship all day. Andrew’s side was hilarious and such a blast to hang out with. And of course, it was just like friends getting together on Tiffany’s side.
The Queen Mary is a unique location and ended up perfect for these two with a great blend of history and romantic settings. Being on board the Queen Mary was like we instantly travelled back in time to the 40’s with the architecture and style around the whole ship. Andrew’s suit was quite fitting for the setting and time appropriate as well. The grooms have really been stepping up and finding unique ways to do something more than just a basic black tux, Andrew wore a custom tailored felt suit. But of course, our brides will never be outdone by their significant others, so Tiffany wore Dr. Martens opposite Andrew’s cowboy boots, just to be sure she felt like herself on her wedding day.
Sticking to our style we still managed to find some romantic spots on the ship and really capture the love that these two have for each other.
It was so much fun to watch these two blend their lives and families together. Now we just need to head out to Chicago, go out for some dogs, and capture these two in their hometown.
