I have known my friend Tiffany for about 10 years. We worked together at Universal Studios and became good friend, bonding over MatchBox Twenty and our work woes. Over the years I have grown close to Tiffany and she was my maid of honor at our wedding in August 2004. She is also my daughter’s godmother.
When Tiffany told me she was engaged ( which by the way, the moment I met Brad I knew he was the one for her and even texted her that) I was ecstatic but also a bit sad because as a photographer, I wanted to bethe one photograph her wedding . I understood that Tiffany valued my friendship and it meant more to her to allows us to enjoy the wedding then have to work it. That didn’t mean however I wasn’t going to bring my camera and play. The venue was Hidden Chateau and Gardens in West Hills and this is the most magical little places tucked away behind walls. You would have NO idea what lurks behind, a lush landscape with green tree’s, flowing water and spring flowers. First we got ready at the Hilton Garden Inn Calabasas and I took some getting ready shots and of course had to display her Alfred Angelo gown also. Josh took the ceremony photos and obviously given he was seated, couldn’t move and failed to get a lens hood, there is serious sunflare but you know what the magic in the photos is still there!
Did I forget to mention not only was I a bridesmaid ( which is an entire post itself, it is VERY weird to be on the other end of someone taking photos….) but Izzy was the flower girl and boy was she GOOD at it! 🙂
We had so much fun being part of the wedding and we truly are so happy Tiffany met and married the man of her dreams. We are looking forward to spending time with you guys now that we are back in the L.A area!
