Like so many modern couples these days, Ashley and Nic took advantage of dating sites to find true love. In this particular case, OK Cupid supplied the arrow that brought these two soul mates together, but it is their love for each other that has gotten them to The Vineyards Simi Valley on this day. With family and friends gathered, Ashley and Nic exchanged “I do’s” in front of the beautiful ceremony location at The Vineyards.
Their proposal was truly unique. Nic worked secretly with Ashley’s parents to give him a “birthday present” on Thanksgiving. Ashley was upset that Nic would have her parents give him something that he was so excited to receive. But she had no idea what was really in store. With so much family already gathered around, Nic opened his “gift” and inside was an engagement ring. He, of course, used it to ask Ashley to become his wife, the best present imaginable.
This takes us to their wedding day at the Vineyards in Simi Valley. Our favorite thing about this venue is all the amazing places to capture the romantics, or couple photos. With the garden path winding as descends down the hill, there is a gorgeous setting at every turn. From waterfalls, a tree swing, and just amazing sunset views peeking through the tree branches along the hillside.
Then it was back to the party as the reception kicked off. After dinner and all the usual wedding reception festivities, Ashley and Nic’s family and friends gathered once again. But this time it was for dancing and celebrating the union of these two amazing people.
