Who doesn’t love a pool party? Add some sun and a beautiful location like the Roosevelt hotel and you’ve got the perfect ingredients for meeting your soulmate. Several years later, after their lives were entwined like balloon strings on a windy day, we gathered for the Santa Barbara Courthouse wedding day to exchange the vows.
Our day began at Butterfly Beach, across from the Four Seasons Biltmore in Montecito. This is a great place to have some fun in the sand and fun is exactly what we had in store. Speaking of fun, David and Eric met at that very pool party mentioned above. On a hot summer at the Roosevelt in Hollywood, love was apparently in the air. Throw in a few amusement parks, Six Flags Magic Mountain and Disneyland, and this love that was was sparked at a pool party had quite the foundation.
We love having fun with our couples and when David and Eric asked if it would be okay if they brought along 8 iconic Mickey balloons from Disneyland, one for each year they have been together, to have some fun throughout the day we knew a fun filled day would be in store for sure. Balloons at the beach are always a great idea to add a pop of color to an already amazing setting, but who knew balloons at a Santa Barbara Courthouse wedding could make such a historic beautiful building just a little more fun.
Of course, we made sure to get some romantic photos taking advantage of the original Spanish architecture that the iconic courthouse has to offer. From there, it was on to the ceremony. We gathered with David and Eric at the private garden area for the Santa Barbara courthouse wedding ceremony as the said their very special “I do’s”. Not only did we get to capture this moment, but were honored to act as their witnesses~
The only way to end this day was with another dose of fun, so we headed to Chase Palm Park on the Santa Barbara waterfront to take a ride on the antique carousel.
