On Friday, I had the opportunity as part of a monthly meet up for our showit share group, to head to Pasadena to play with some off camera lighting. I got an old family friend that models, grabbed a wedding gown I had, and headed to Pasadena City Hall. (If you have not been to Pasadena City Hall, it is extraordinary with aspects that remind you of a castle. You really should check it out.)
With fellow photographers we worked on lighting with off camera lighting (flashes). This was great for me, an area I am always willing to learn more about and experiment with. I really enjoyed learning form my peer’s and stepping outside what I normally do, with some amazing “Oh Snap” results.
