Spring is in the air and nowhere is that more evident than at Lauren and Steve’s Moorpark wedding, whether it is just the colors or the little bits of baseball thrown in.
These two really are perfect for each other. Even down to their sweet proposal story. After picking up the engagement ring, Steve tried to keep it at a friend’s house while he planned on how he was going to propose. While there, they convinced him that he was ready now and to just do it that night. Steve agreed and picked up Lauren’s favorite flowers and a bottle of champagne. Upon coming home, Lauren happened to be cooking dinner. When he came in the door, Lauren only saw the flowers and asked what they were for. She turned her attention back to the cooking not realizing what was really about to happen. Then, when she looked back for Steve’s answer he was on one knee awaiting her answer to “Will you marry me?” Obviously, she said yes and now we are all gathered for this Moorpark wedding.
Once in a while, the guys steal the show and upon meeting this group of groomsmen it was obvious something was up. During the ceremony, when the officiant asked for the rings, the Best Man seemed to have forgotten them. Luckily, they stepped forward with a Cracker Jack box and with the hope for finding the rings as the prize inside, they tore into the box. They found the rings and the ceremony continued on and the guys continued to share the cracker jacks.
For the rest of the evening, the guys took a backseat to the newlyweds and everything else went off without a hitch.
