Weddings can be emotional, memorable, and even historic. Karissa and Walter’s wedding has been a long time coming, just ask any of their friends or family. This McCormick Ranch wedding certainly had the emotion, just take one look at Walter as his soon-to-be wife walked down the aisle. It was absolutely memorable with just the right amount of tradition and modern personalization. And this gorgeous ranch house location provided plenty of history.
We first met Karissa and Walter at Analise and Frankie‘s wedding. They were both members of the bridal party then. Now, the roles have been reversed, with Karissa and Walter leading their very own bridal party, including both Analise and Frankie.
This McCormick Ranch wedding had such a beautiful garden ceremony location it didn’t even feel like a Ventura County wedding with all the lush foliage and flowers. Instead, it almost seemed like something you’d see in a more tropical location like Hawaii. But, of course Karissa and Walter stole the show with their love for each other and their families.
After the ceremony all the guests gathered around the 100 year old McCormick family home and were serenaded by a full mariachi band that really helped set the tone for the evening ahead.
Then, everyone moved over to the reception area in front of the historic ranch house for dinner and dancing. And there certainly was a lot of dancing. All night long, everyone, young and old, spent the evening dancing to all their favorites.
