Knollwood Country Club Wedding – Jennifer + Ashkon

We were super excited for Jennifer and Ashkon’s wedding day as soon as we met these two at a Starbuck’s right next to Knollwood Country Club.  Then as we got to know them even better during their engagement session, the excitement grew!

The day began with Jennifer and the girls getting ready at Knollwood Country Club.  Ashkon and the guys, in typical guy fashion, showed up ready to rock and roll.  As the reception room details were coming together and Jennifer was getting her dress on, we could see that it was just as magical as we had imagined.

Soon after was time to get things started with the First Look.  We found a private little spot just off the golf course, but still safe from any stray golf balls.

Shortly after the first look, we gathered near the ceremony site as the guests began to arrive.  The ceremony site at Knollwood Country Club is an amazing little spot overlooking all the beautifully manicured greens, yet set into the trees to give a woodsy forest feel to the ceremony.

After exchanging their vows and sealing them with their first kiss as husband and wife, we gathered the bridal party for some fun photos.  One thing that was unique about Jennifer and Ashkon’s wedding was that it was midday.  This gave the reception a more casual atmosphere, truly perfect for these two and their personal style.

The casual “party” reception was a blast for everyone with great food and epic dancing from young and old alike.

Since it was a day wedding we got to sneak off for some romantic couple photos as a conclusion to the day.  This was a truly amazing way to end the day and gave me flashbacks to the gorgeous sunset we spent with these two not too long ago at their Carpinteria Beach engagement session.

Spending these quiet moments with our couples is one of the best things about what we do.  Of course, meeting the families and hearing all the stories is pretty unforgettable, but experiencing the love our newlyweds share with each other is what inspires us.
