Dan and Wil are the epitome of love. They adore each other and we adore them. They met at a party with mutual friends and gradually got to know each other in this modern age playing Words With Friends. The games led to dinner and dinner led to dating and dating led to marriage.
Their amazing day was in Dana Point, CA and they were surrounded by their closest friends and family. Just one example of how big of a heart these two have… for the family that was unable to attend their wedding, they set up a Livestream broadcast of the ceremony and even restarted the broadcast several times throughout for anyone who joined late.
Dana Cove Beach nestled just behind the Ocean Institute served as the perfect backdrop for this heartfelt ceremony. The celebration then shifted over to the DoubleTree by Hilton Dana Point.
Wil summed up the day perfectly, “I sit here now reflecting back on yesterday’s events and now I can see why everyone gets excited about getting married. It was a magical experience and one that I will never forget for obvious reasons. My friends and family were there as well as Dan’s and I can’t thank each and every one of them enough for coming out to support us on our most important day together so far. I gave a quote to US Weekly where I said that this is “One small step for man, one giant leap for Equality!” and I stick to my belief. We didn’t get married for any political reasons, we got married because we love each other and want to spend the rest of our lives together. I can’t see any other reason why we shouldn’t be allowed to that legally.”
It was such an honor to share the day with Dan and Wil. We can’t wait to meet up in Las Vegas with these two as they continue to celebrate their love and marriage.
