Bel Air Bay Club Wedding – Jen + Matt

Bel Air Bay Club is an iconic location for a wedding.  Sitting just above PCH overlooking the Pacific Ocean, there are beautiful gardens, green lawns, majestic buildings, and of course the views! Jen and Matt wanted to embrace all these views and ease some of the stress on the day by coming together before the actual ceremony.  But, they still wanted to maintain that tradition of the groom not seeing the bride before she walks down the aisle.  So, they chose to have a “No Look, First Look” and what a moment it was.

While getting ready, the guys unveiled a fun way to make their day a little more unique. Each guy had a pair of socks matched to their own style. From baseball to Tupac, they really covered all the bases.  Matt even got in on the fun with his Star Wars themed Chewbacca socks.

As the ceremony began, you could spy Jen peering out of the window with her family, what a neat perspective that was!  There was lots of laughs as the ringbearer and his sign, kept going and had to be stopped and turned around.  What we love about moments like this, is they are unscripted, not planned but everyone laughs and its OK!  Jen + Matt also honored Jen’s parents by including a tea ceremony.  The ocean in the background, laughter, and a big dose of love, this was a ceremony to remember.

The reception with views of the Pacific Ocean, was a perfect setting for the party about to start.  First dances were romantic and full of joy and the cake cutting fun, as they playfully fed each other. The night went on and everyone had an amazing time.  We really love Jen + Matt because they are down to earth, easy going and just wanted their family and friends to have a good time! That always makes our job easier!
