Jenny and Matt have a great proposal story that took place at Point Dume just off PCH between Los Angeles and Ventura County. On those giant rocks overlooking the Malibu beach, that is where Matt got down on one knee and asked the love of his life to marry him. What was actually a backup plan thanks to the sweltering Los Angeles heat, the romantic Malibu setting couldn’t have been more perfect.
So, we all decided to head back to that epic location for their engagement photos. For a couple that loves hiking and the beach, Malibu seems too good to be true. We started out on the trails leading up to the dramatic vista and chatted about wedding planning and how all the details were coming together. Of course, we had to stop and take some photos since it is almost magical watching these two interact with each other. As we neared the overlook, the ocean breeze and setting sun gave us one of the most dramatic settings we could have imagined for engagement photos.
From here we headed along the cliffs and ventured back down to the beach for the rest of their engagement session. We made sure to stop and catch an amazing moment between these two at a small rest area of benches about halfway down. Then it was onto the Malibu beach where Jenny and Matt got to play in the sand and the surf.
This was such a fun and romantic engagement session. These two are an amazing pair and the way they are with each other is inspiring. We cannot wait for their Rancho De Las Palmas wedding!
