Las Vegas styled shoots during WPPI

We are so excited to be going back to the WPPI conference again this year.  It has always been very inspirational for both of us.  Several years ago we attended one of the numerous photo shoots that are put together by people during the convention.  It was at this shoot that Couture Clicks was born, we just didn’t know it yet.  It was an amazing experience and inspiring to just have the creative freedom to do whatever you wanted to do.  We call it “Shooting for Yourself”.

Whether you are a family photographer that would love to try some shots of a Bride and Groom, or a wedding photographer that would love to have the freedom to do something you have always wanted to try but didn’t want to experiment with paying clients.  Or maybe you just wanted to take advantage of shooting somewhere completely different than what you typically do.  These are the things that WPPI is all about.  Do stuff to inspire you and stretch yourself as a photographer.

Are you new to the business and just want to get more experience?  Maybe you have been a photographer for awhile and just searching for that feeling you had when you were starting out?  We want to give everyone the chance to Shoot for Yourself and get inspired to do more.  We don’t sit you down and talk about what you should do differently.  We are there if anyone has any questions, but we aren’t going to force feed you any information.  We provide models, dresses, details, and settings that would not normally have access to so you can push your limits and grow as a photographer.

This year we are returning to the Nelson, NV Ghost Town.  Every year this has been an amazing experience and every year there are still more spots that people uncover and shots that people get that we haven’t seen after 4 years going there.

Also back by popular demand we are shooting at the Neon Museum.  Commonly referred to as the Neon Boneyard, it is a collection of all the retired neon signs that had a previous life lighting up the Vegas Skyline.  We are super exited to be going back this year and we love working with the Neon Museum staff to provide access to a piece of Las Vegas that most people don’t get to photograph.
