Marilynn + Jesse | Los Angeles Wedding Photos

After hearing their love story and getting to know Jesse and Marilynn at their engagement session, we knew the wedding day was going to be a ton a fun and full of emotion.

From the moment we met up as they were both getting ready to their fun-filled reception there was plenty of emotion.

We began the day with a First Look at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Downtown Los Angeles.  It is so much fun to start in an amazing location like this.  After Jesse and Marilynn had seen each other, we transitioned right into their romantics.  There are so many beautiful angles throughout the Blue Ribbon Garden and the adjoining Amphitheatres.  With the blend of lush greenery and mirrored metal architecture, the only thing more beautiful than the Walt Disney Concert Hall is the love that these two share.

After the traditional Catholic ceremony in East Los Angeles, we all headed to Glendale for the reception.  A very memorable moment from the reception that was quite unique was their first dance.  It was quite beautiful, but their thoughts and memories about each other, pre-recorded and played over the music, while they celebrated their first dance together was truly moving.  It made an emotional moment like the First Dance even more romantic by making it all about their love for each other and more than just a dance.  It was a great touch that I would recommend for anyone looking to make their First Dance more unique.

One of the many stories we heard throughout the night was one of their many trips to Las Vegas together.  This particular trip just happened to be the one where they got engaged.  Jesse really look out all the stops and even had a custom box made of the characters from Beauty and the Beast presenting the unique engagement ring to Marilynn.  Her ring had a pink center stone and right away we knew we had to get some of our favorite detail shots, the ring shots, with the box and this gorgeous non-traditional ring.
