These two self described “goofy nerds” met through okcupid and one could easily argue that it was destiny. They are clearly meant for one another and seeing their families come together was magical.

Gino proposed to Lisa during a romantic rooftop dinner, so it seemed only natural that they had their reception at The Castaway in Burbank. The Castaway has some great city views of Los Angeles, especially at night.

The Castaway has a special place in our hearts because it was the location where we became Emma + Josh. We even celebrated our reception in the same room as Gino and Lisa almost 10 years ago. But enough about us, let’s get back to this amazing twosome.

Just a few months ago, we met up at the LA Arboretum for engagement photos and we had an absolute blast roaming the beautiful grounds.

On the big day, we showed up to meet Gino at their home to capture some photos of him getting ready with the guys. Getting to see someone’s home really tells you a lot about them and the quirks and loves they share. We all then headed to St. Charles Borromeo Church in North Hollywood for the ceremony.

With a bit of time between the ceremony and reception we had the privilege to take some photos around The Castaway. In keeping with the Vintage Romance theme of the day, we knew we had to get some glorious sunset shots at this romantic hillside venue and Gino and Lisa made sure there was time after dinner to sneak away.

We had so much fun getting to know both of these families. It was very evident that Gino and Lisa are surrounded by A LOT of love.
