Nicole and Marc chose Summerland Beach in Montecito, CA as the location for their intimate wedding ceremony. Having family in both California and Minnesota, they decided to split up their wedding by having their ceremony here and the reception in Minnesota.
Josh and I were both very happy to be able to photograph this special evening.
Enjoy!!!
Since there was no official reception just a dinner, they chose to have a private first dance on the beach
Josh encouraged me to attempt to get this shot. I was literally lying on the limo floor between both their legs to get this.. and I love it.
I love images that are different. Here I walked halfway up the path to the parking lot to get a wide shot of the ceremony and shot through the brush
What a CUTIE!!!! I think he stole the show
Since this was a public beach, there really is no way to close it to beachgoers… so they made this sign, so people could quietly enter without causing a distraction.
The Oathing Stone is an old Scottish tradition where the Bride and Groom place their hands upon a stone while saying their wedding vows. Called the oathing stone it was thought to be the best way to express your solemn promise in physical form.
