After a beautiful exchange of vows and the symbolic kiss, Angie and Ryan were married. Their Simi Valley wedding had everything the happy couple could hope for in a wedding day.

They met in high school and had originally planned on heading off to college together. However, like often happens, life threw them a curveball and Ryan stayed in California to play college baseball while Angie headed to Utah for college. This would not deter them and they made the decision to date long distance during college.

Now, with that all in the history books, they treasure their time together. And it is obvious when they are together, laughing, hugging, kissing, and just overall enjoying bringing their lives together.

We began the day at the La Canada Congregational Church for a divine ceremony. One unique moment was when the maid of honor sang and played the piano. All in all it really was a gorgeous meaningful ceremony.

From there we continued the Simi Valley wedding day at Wood Ranch Golf Club. One of the best things at any country club is when we get to head out onto the golf course to some of the beautiful spots that only the golfers usually get to see. Wood Ranch Golf Club has some breathtaking views with lakes and hills throughout their property, but one spot is just beyond a tunnel. This makes a dramatic location for some silhouettes and anyone who follows our work knows we love taking silhouettes and always try to capture these on the wedding day.

As the families and friends celebrated, Angie and Ryan’s big day turned into night. With dinner and dancing keeping things lively, the reception came to an end and all the guests grabbed a sparkler and headed to the main driveway to see the newlyweds off and they could begin their new married life together.
