Intimate Saddle Peak Lodge Wedding | Laura + James

Last weekend we were able to part of Laura + James special wedding.  Their’s was an intimate wedding at Saddle Peak Lodge in Calabasas.  If you have never been here this is nestled away in the hills of Calabasas, surrounded by nature but the restaurant itself has a very rustic, elegant and old world feel to it.  We truly had such an amazing time at this wedding, we were made to feel like part of the family, even having place settings at the guest tables.  ( we actually sat with her grandparents and friends and they had us laughing hysterically.. Grandpa was ADORABLE!!!!!).  We certainly never expect to be with guests, but it is nice to be made to feel so much like family, and less like a vendor.  Plus I had a front row seat to take photos.. which was great!  😉

The ceremony was outside with the lunch being in the library area of the Lodge.  Such an amazing historical backdrop to be surrounded by!  We certainly used it to our advantage when taking photos.   The nooks and crannies of this property allow for romantic, creative wedding photos.  It might not be big but if your thinking of having a very small intimate event and love nature, as well as a rustic, historical old charm venue.. this is your place!
