Before their Rancho De Las Palmas wedding, Jessica and Bryan met just like most couples do. One random evening while walking their dogs with no phones or really any way to exchange info. Okay, maybe this is not the normal way couples meet, but it clearly worked with these two. Jessica clearly made an impression on Bryan as he memorized her info and emailed her so they could continue their “doggie meet up.”
Jessica and Bryan are both truly amazing people. While Jessica was taking care of her final touches of hair and make up and slipping into her gorgeous wedding dress, Bryan amazed us with his calm, cool demeanor on the wedding day or maybe it was just the vibe on Rancho De Las Palmas’ infamous “Groom’s Island.”
As the groomsmen all began to arrive, a trend was developing… wrestling socks!!! We are huge fans of the custom sock trend gaining momentum in the wedding day wardrobe. It really gives a chance to make a unique impact on a suit. In Bryan’s case, each guy had a different wrestler emblazoned on their calves.
With the ceremony winding down, the amazing couple celebrated their fist kiss and were introduced as husband and wife. Then, they kicked off the cocktail hour right then and there with a bang… or rather a “Pop!” They popped a bottle of champagne and shared their first glass together as a married couple before heading back down the aisle.
Rancho De Las Palmas is one of our favorite places to photograph a wedding at and we have been there multiple times, but even after all that there are always new things to discover and this time we were introduced to a natural “tree” tunnel and it will become a recurring spot for sure.
As we all returned to the reception, Jessica and Bryan spotted their Shot Luge Ice Sculpture and had to partake. The rest of the reception was a blast and Bryan sure can keep a dance floor exciting.
