This Rancho De Las Palmas wedding was full of love and laughter. Jason and Tara are such a fun couple. They met when Jason was working at the Do It Center, and Tara, according to her Dad, was stalking him… no not really. They became friends and eventually started dating. They actually had many mutual friends and Jason’s sister Kim, was one of Tara’s good friends before they even met.

When Jason proposed he took Tara to Mammoth Mountain as she had never seen snow before. When it came time to propose, the snow was falling (and starting to reallllly snow) and Jason set his phone down, on a timer and recorded his proposal. She said yes, and the rest is becoming history. We met Jason and Tara almost a year ago and had such a great time on their engagement session at Gardens of The World, it was a gorgeous property we had never been too before. Back to Rancho Del Las Palmas on this gorgeous California spring day, the weather was perfect, sunny but not too hot. We arrived and took some detail shots before we set up for the first look. We love first looks for many reasons, the most important being that it really helps when you are on a timeline. It alleviates the stress of trying to hide from each other and being able to get the majority of photos done beforehand. Once we did that, we took time to walk around the property and take their couples photos. We loved this outdoor wedding venue because it had so many nooks and crannies for romantic photos.

When it came time for the ceremony there was much laughter. The officiant clearly knew these two well, as many jokes were made! Vows were said, rings were exchanged and VOILA! The moment that everyone waits for!

The reception was FUN, full of dancing and good times. When it came for the first dance, it was romantic and you could tell they appreciated having a few moments to themselves even though they were surrounded by people. From cake cutting to bouquet and garter, there was always laughing and smiles! We even stole them away for 20 minutes for some sunset photos. Which we LOVE!
