Jennifer and Dennis met while working together at their local movie theater. The vintage mood was all around us as their ceremony and reception took place on the Queen Mary in Long Beach Harbor.
After a first look in the Travel Bureau, we literally ran all over the ship, much like that scene in Titanic. Which we may have actually re-enacted, having Jennifer and Dennis running across the deck. Luckily the ship is no longer leaving its parking spot so we didn’t have to keep an eye out for icebergs.
Everyone headed to the stern of the ship for the ceremony. With views of the Long Beach coastline Jennifer and Dennis said their I do’s. Then it was off to the Queen’s Salon. This was a beautiful location for a wedding reception. With high ceilings and dramatic woodwork, we could’ve been transported back to another time or even on a movie set.
For this wedding we rented a fisheye lens, as Dennis is a photography aficionado and liked the way some of the shots would look. It is a fun lens to play with and does add a bit of drama and fun to some of the shots.
We hope you enjoy these Queen Mary Wedding Photos, as much as we enjoyed taking them!
We couldn’t have done any of this without this team of wedding professionals.
