This past weekend I was able to help my good friend Kerim over at My Wedding Blooms for Sheila and Justin’s wedding at the Laguna Cliffs Marriot in Dana Point. I met Kerim back in 2004 when I was planning my own wedding and we chose Kerim to be our florist.
I am now helping him out in the office as well as taking detail shots of his stunning florals at certain weddings. This was one of them, beyond centerpieces and bouquets, this wedding had it all. From a gorgeous Chuppah decorated with strung orchids and crystals to the ivory and white petals on the guest tables. The ring bearer pillow was made of white Pom Pom’s and lots of submerged orchids in the reception room, no detail was left to spare. Kerim worked alongside Monique Atwell, the Wedding Coordinator of A Signature Wedding to help bring Sheila and Justin’s vision to life.

For the Ceremony, the Chuppah decorated with Roses, Hydrangeas, spray roses, Lisanthius and strung orchids with hanging crystals.
The aisle was decorated with matching floral arrangements set on columns, with rose petal trails.

The Table leading to the Reception room held the place cards with glass cylinders filled with orchids, one topped with a large Pomander of whte Pom Poms and a huge white Manzanita Branch in the center. Lots of petals were placed in the spaces between the vases and the escort cards.

The Reception had so many different facets to it. Here are the gorgeous centerpieces. Large contoured glass vases filled with orchids, topped with huge displays of Roses, Hydrangeas, Spray Roses, Lisanthius, and also hanging crystals and phalenopsis orchids on the bottom of the piece.

The Candy Table was adorned with a 5ft White Manzanita branch with a floral assortment to match the centerpieces and there were 5 pomanders set upon the branches.
We also hung glass bubble candle holders and crystals from the branches.

The Cake itself had a White Hydrangea cluster on top with Ivory roses,Phalenopsis Orchids and pearled Stephanotis which were also cascading down the cake.
The table had cylinders with submerged orchids.

The Sweetheart Table was adorned with matching floral arrangements , rose petals and behind the table were pedestals with tall cylinders with submerged orchids floating candles.

Certainly the focal point for every bride is her Bridal bouquet and this was no exception. Sheila’s bouquet included Ivory roses, White Fressia, Snow berries,
White sweet peas, with lots of crystal accents. The Bottom was wrapped in a crystal band on the top and the bottom of the handle.
