I am going through the past weddings that we shot, and posting them on our new blog.
Mike and Tara were such an awesome couple. They found us through the Eastside Wedding Show at the Hollywood Schoolhouse in Woodinville. They were such a cute couple, we were really looking forward to shooting their engagement session, as well as their wedding.
When we shoot engagement sessions we always take our clients out to grab something to eat and drink first. This helps break the ice and we get to know them even better. It also helps prepare for the big day so the couple is used to our style and doesn’t mind us nosing around and following them on their wedding day. ( just kidding)
Mike and Tara actually met on match.com which was a really great story. It’s amazing to hear stories of how couples meet and fall in love. What I really liked about Mike and Tara was how close they both are to their families and how they play a very important role in each of their lives.
The wedding ceremony took place at Trinty Lutheran Church with the reception held at the newly remodeled Edmonds Yacht Club. I loved this venue because it reminded me of Fisherman’s Village in Marina Del Rey, CA. 🙂
Between the ceremony and reception we went to Edmonds Marina Beach where we were lucky enough to spend 30 minutes and capture an amazing sunset. I love the beach… need I remind you all we lived in L.A. most of our lives so beachy anythings make us happy!
Here are some of the photos from that day. We really enjoyed being part of Mike and Tara’s day!
Enjoy!
