Almost two years ago we photographed Erin & Roy’s amazing wedding at Inglewood Golf Club. During this fantastic night we met a beautiful bridesmaid named Kristin. Fast-forward to last winter… Kristin is engaged and we can’t wait to do another wedding for this great group of friends.
We met up with the happy couple at the Mayflower Park Hotel. As soon as everyone was ready, we all piled into two separate vans (great idea for getting everyone around town without the bride and groom seeing each other) and headed up to the scenic Kerry Park. Anyone who has seen a movie or TV show based in Seattle has undoubtedly seen the view from this glorious little park in Queen Anne. With views of the Space Needle and Mt. Rainier, it was the perfect backdrop for their first glance. I waited with Chris as Kristin snuck up behind her groom. It was quite the moment and everyone else enjoying the sunshine and the view were pulled in, clapping and cheering as Chris greeted his bride for the first time.
Emma found a magical, quiet little cobblestone path to get some shots without the audience.
After taking full advantage of Kerry Park, we all got back into our vans and headed to St. Joseph Parish in Capitol Hill. The ceremony was at this glorious church and it was beautiful ceremony.
Then everyone headed back to the Mayflower Park Hotel to celebrate.
Drinks and dancing took over the evening, so we made our move to steal the wedding rings from the newlyweds and capture some of Emma’s famous ring shots.
As the evening wound down, we were saddened to say goodbye again to all of our friends.
Congrats Kristin and Chris and thank you for letting us spend the day with you!
