Giving new meaning to “Happy Hour”, these two had their first date after work one day over Sweet Potato Fries and spent 6 hours getting to know each other better. These eHarmony lovebirds currently call Santa Monica home, so it was the perfect spot for their engagement session.
We met up at Palisades Park and captured their love as we strolled along the greenspace heading towards the Santa Monica Pier. During our chats while we strolled, we heard the most amazing stories.
Matt swept Randi away on a surprise getaway to King’s Canyon in Sequoia for her birthday. As they went on a few hikes, Matt was apparently searching for exactly the right spot, they found the most amazing overlook of the canyon floor, the river, and the mountains right at sunset. With no one else around, he figured this was the perfect spot to present Randi her “birthday present”. With a little help from the lizards to distract her, Matt dropped to one knee and pulled the ring from his pocket. They popped a bottle a champagne Matt had secretly brought along, knowing they would be celebrating, and sat in their magic spot watching the sunset.
As the sun began to set on our day, we caught this beautiful duo wandering the beach. The waves breaking near by were a gorgeous backdrop for some final photos. This engagement session was simply amazing and I hope you can see what we saw.
Listening to their them talk and watching them interact with each other was awesome to witness. They truly do love each other and it is obvious. We can’t wait to learn more about their families and hear even more stories at Adamson House in Malibu on their wedding day.
