Santa Monica Sunset Engagement photos

Michelle and Vitaly had their first date at the Santa Monica Pier, but if you ask Vitaly their true “first date” was at Costco over pizza for lunch. Even though it was probably more of an escape from the office, we can just picture them sharing a giant pizza slice just like Lady & the Tramp and their famous bowl of spaghetti.  The love these two have for each other is endless, much like those two adorable puppies.

We met up with Michelle and Vitaly at Los Liones Canyon in Pacific Palisades and went for a short hike.  Between stops to capture their engagement photos, we discussed the many interests these two shared and saw first hand what they saw in each other at that first Halloween Party.   While we loved watching these two interact, we couldn’t help but smile at how he would whisper little comments in her ear to get her to laugh.

Before we left, Vitaly even re-enacted his “early birthday present” engagement proposal.

As sunset drew closer, we all headed to the Santa Monica Pier to celebrate their first date.  There were a lot of families and tourists out enjoying the final hours of sun on the pier, so we snuck down underneath the pier as the surf was coming in.  By that time, it was perfect to head back up onto the pier as the sun began it descent.  We wandered along taking in the smells of all food and even checked out some of the vendors lined up on the walk.  We reached the end of the pier and wrapped up their engagement photos as the sun set into the Santa Monica shoreline.

We had a great day with Michelle and Vitaly and absolutely cannot wait for their wedding at the Ambassador Mansion and Gardens in Pasadena.  With just a glimpse at a few of these photos, you can imagine how much effortless beauty and romance there will be on the big day.

It was inspiring to spend the afternoon with these two and see true love in action.
