Ojai Ranch Wedding Photos | Katie + Chad

Sometimes the perfect venue for your wedding is living its day to day life as an organic farm in your very own family.  Had we not known that, we would’ve guessed that this Ojai Ranch wedding was at one of the amazing venues located throughout Ventura County.  Katie and Chad brought their love and a lot of family all the way from Alabama and we are so blessed to have been a part of their day.

Their relationship started in college together, specifically in Kinesiology… kinda perfect for two athletes. It grew all through college and blossomed one day as they were volunteering together for their church.  On that day, they “conveniently” ended up at the same spot where they first shared a dance under the stars. With that moment, Chad dropped to one knee and proposed, to which Katie obviously said yes.

Having “out-kicked his coverage” Chad and Katie married on an epic day at this amazing Ojai Ranch wedding.  Getting to tour the grounds with these two was truly a photographers dream.  With views of the valley and dramatic trees all around, we took a walk with Katie and Chad and stopped at some photo ops that some wedding venues don’t even have… an authentic tree swing!

Sadly for Chad, there was no fishing on this day, but DJ’s catering provided some delicious food to make up for the fresh catch.  With rustic touches everywhere and an epic Family Farm, this Ojai Ranch wedding was just the perfect day for these two Alabama sweethearts.
