Josh and I were so thrilled to shoot this wedding with such an adorable couple at a truly AMAZING venue, The Arctic Club. Talk about FUN! I knew from the minute we met Laura, at La Belle Elaine’s, that she was a spunky firecracker. We hit it off instantly and we take full credit for the dress she ended up choosing. (j/k)
It was a gloomy day as we headed out to downtown Seattle. We met up with Laura, Trevor, and the rest of the bridal party at the hotel. I headed to Laura’s room to capture the ever important getting ready shots and what to my wondering eyes did appear… Bright Pink Shoes, not only for the bride, but all of her bridesmaids! Meanwhile, Josh met up with the guys to take some photos of everyone hanging out while waiting for all the women to finish getting ready. Shortly after, it was Laura’s turn to sneak up on Trevor and exchange their First Glance.
Just before the ceremony, we took advantage of a break in the Seattle rain and hit the streets of downtown. First, we headed up to City Hall to take advantage of a very modern, stylish plaza. Then, the skies began to threaten, so we headed underground into the bus tunnel to take advantage of the gorgeous architecture. We could have photographed this bridal party all day long, all over Seattle, but we had a beautiful ceremony and reception to get back to inside the Northern Lights Dome Room. If you have never seen this ballroom, it is certainly a sight to be seen!
