Heidi + Lars | Moorpark Country Club Wedding

Did you ever have a crush on a teacher?  This is kinda like the grown up version of that.  Lars first noticed Heidi when she was his daughter’s teacher. Lucky for them, Lars had a Swedish name and they both shared this heritage.  This made Heidi notice Lars as well.  The following school year, this “notice” turned into a date and now we are all gathered for a Cal Lutheran and Moorpark Country Club Wedding.

Upon walking into the Church at Cal Lutheran University, we saw the perfect spot for Heidi and Lars’ first look.  The gorgeous winding staircase with a stained glass backdrop. After a perfect ceremony for this family-loving laid-back duo, featuring a saxophone solo by Heidi’s brother, everyone headed up to Moorpark Country Club to continue the party.

We love the grounds there.  How could you not after seeing the sun setting over the lake on the golf course?  Combine this dramatic venue with some amazing people and we are all set for a great reception.  This particular Moorpark Country Club wedding reception was extra special because Heidi and Lars have the most amazing group of friends and family. 

We always love a great wedding cake or some special wedding desserts.  And of course, this was made extra special with a Skiff’s Cakes wedding cake and dessert bar!

Everyone kept the dance floor lively and fun all night. All the way up to the Grand Bubble exit. With that send off and a quick change of clothes, the newlyweds departed their Moorpark Country Club wedding reception to begin their honeymoon and bring an end to this wonderful wedding day.
