Sometimes you are excited to shoot at a location, and when you get there… It’s even BETTER then you could have imagined. Caitlin and Shawn took us to Carpinteria.. now we have shot a wedding on the beach so we were familiar with the area.. but we had NOT seen this little gem! Not only are there sandy beaches perfect for the sunset, there are trails that lead to areas with tall grass, gorgeous trees and even a cool urban area under the train tracks… I know what your thinking..eww BUT it was worth it to get some variety in this location. PLUS it wasn’t THAT bad! 🙂 There are so many possibilities here I am already looking forward to go back. Not only for more photos, but to take our daughter to collect shells and see the Seals over in the Seal Sanctuary!
We had so much fun with Caitlin and Shawn, they were willing to try everything! We wanted to do sparklers but it didn’t get dark enough so we are going to try that their wedding July 12th!!!
